My favorite part about that song is how it highly resembles a mormon children's funeral dirge. like everytime you sing walked and walked and walked, it makes me want to keen and wail and roll my eyes back in my head. I hope they sing it in the Primary program next week so I can show off my skills.

Especially because the kids were singing The Song that Never Ends (not their fault though, they were Singing in Ignorance).
Maybe the pioneer adults got over their annoyance by spanking as they walked.
The pioneer adults threatened to turn around and go back to Europe. That's when the singing stopped.
