Stories From My Mission (part one)

One day a couple of sister missionaries in my district ran out of water and they didn’t want to go buy more water because it was Sunday. So they decided to fill a pitcher up with gasoline and prayed that the gas would be changed into water.

After they prayed, they smelled it and it didn’t smell quite as strong as it had before, so they drank it.

But it turns out that they only had enough faith to turn half of the gas into water.

And one of the sisters had to get her stomach pumped.

I learned on my mission that the worst mistake you can make is to waste all your eating-frenzy energy on Fast Sunday on eating. You must drink. And you must not take so much time eating and rushing out the door that you forget to bring water with you for the rest of the night. You can't buy more on Sunday, and the thirst is the worst. Then you come home, drink drink drink and can't sleep more than 2 hours at a time the next night.

Lessons learned.

Also sometimes sister missionaries are kind of silly.

Good story, Gats. Did you have to take those sisters to the hospital?

I have heard this story. wonder if its one of those stories that everyone claims to be the first one to tell thinking no one will have heard it before.
