A Stupor Of Thought
I have to give a talk next week in Sacrament Meeting about self reliance. But I'm not too stressed out about it because my wife is actually writing it for me.
Now THAT's preparation, marrying someone who can write your talks. I have to talk on Sunday too, on the role of women in the church. I wonder if my husband...
I'm not kidding: years ago I was in a young marrieds ward, though I was about 5 years older than the average bride there. The sister who gave the RS lesson that day said, "Because my husband is older and went on a mission and stuff he knows way more about the gospel than I do, so I always ask him for help with my lessons, but not this time. This week's lesson is on self-reliance and I did it all by myself!"

HA!
Yay! A new post!!
If a husband can't rely on his wife than how could anybody expect him to rely on himself?
My wife not only writes my talks, but also writes my blog comments, too.
I need to get me a wife, the current person I use (me) is just so unreliable. Any takers?
Dr.Wolffe, I need a wife too. One to write my talks and clean my bathrooms and take the blame for raising rotten kids. Thanks for the cool new name!
